Public speaking

I am not a fan of public speaking. I'm not bad at it, just don't like it. However, with the campaign at church, I've had to speak a few times. Never for very long but enough for a knot to form in my stomach. Last Sunday I was asked but someone else who was going to be speaking how I managed to get up and wax eloquently without being nervous. I looked at the guy like he was crazy and told him I was nervous all the time. Anyway, I agreed to speak again tomorrow to tell people a bit of what the church has meant to me and why I'm a part of this campaign. I thought about writing out my little speech here but I'm still not entirely sure what I'm going to say. Sometimes it's really hard to describe to other people why such a bit part of your life is such a big part of it. It just is.
