A couple of weeks ago my fabulous friend
Kelly Ry headed to the lake front with me to observe our weekly (mostly) Monday night volleyball game. There's a group of us that have done out best to hit Montrose Beach once a week after work to hone our skills so that we are ready to compete in the 2012 Olympics (we have a LOT of work to do!). Some weeks our games are great and other weeks they are not so great. Either way, we always manage to have fun and get a little exercise. On this particular case, Kelly was kind enough to document our evening and she did a fabulous job!

This week happened to be the last week that our friend J (who we all refer to as 'Pookie') would be playing with us as he decided to move back to the land of tourists and old people (also known as Florida).

It's so cool that you are a part of this volleyball team! What a great way to spend Mondays in Chicago! Glad to see some pictures from it.
What a fun way to get some exercise AND friend-time in!
I'm so jealous! Volleyball is my FAVORITE sport! I would love to play on a rec team or something. I stayed up way too late watching ALL of it on the olympics, Kerri and Misty have my heart!
