The Great Shake Off

On Saturday night my friends Robin and Emily hosted The Great Shake Off at their apartment. I think that the party was an excuse for one of them to use the new martini shaker they got for Christmas but none of us minded. The plan was that they would provide the snacks and the vodka and that we were all supposed to bring the ingredients to make our favorite martinis. So, we all went about researching how on earth to make a martini and searching out the finest ingredients.







We gathered on Saturday night to find that they weren't kidding about the competition part and that we would be judged on five criteria.
1. Taste
2. Mixing Style
3. Presentation
4. Something I can't remember, possibly creativity?
5. Overall Good looks

After a surprisingly long deliberation, the judges awarded the prizes and I won third place for my cosmopolitan! I'm an award winning mixoligist!! (Can I put that on my resume?)
