Doctors. I have kind of a love/hate relationship with mine. On the one hand, she is always running late (I had a 9am appointment this morning and she didn't even get into the office until 9:30) but on the other hand, she is lovely and sweet and very knowledgeable and is a great listener. So, I'll just continue to plan that my appointments will take longer. It's the price you pay for a doctor that doesn't treat you like just a number.
It was just a regular check up. Got my allergy meds updated (because I like being able to breath through my nose), had some blood drawn, which is not always easy considering my very deep veins (and Melissa, if you are reading this, this means that I have held up the end of my bargain to get blood work done that needed to happen. Now it's your turn), and in two weeks I start on physical therapy to try and help pain I have had in my lower back and tail bone for years. My doc agreed with me and my PT friends that this could be a good route to go so I called and made my appointments. I didn't get the therapist that I really wanted because she was booked solid until June. But, I have confidence in the facility that I am going to and the quality of their therapists.
To top it all off, even with the doctor being so late, I was sitting back at my desk by 10:05! Not bad at all!
So there you have it. A boring recap to my boring morning and way more information than any of you needed.
