This last Monday night was our last book club meeting to talk about Anna Karenina. We have finally finished! I have NO idea how long we were reading it. But, I now have the satisfaction of saying that I have read it. Technically, I read it once in college but all I remembered from that was something about a train (I won't say what, just in case you were planning on reading it. I don't want to give anything away). This time through, I remember what happened. Well, at least most of what happened. And, don't ask me to pronounce any names.
For the most part, I enjoyed the book. There are some really long sections about farming and hunting and voting and things that aren't really important in any fashion but aside from those, it's good.
We did all laugh at our collective sigh of relief when we walked into the coffee shop for our last meeting.
Next up: "Three Cups of Tea" by Greg Mortenson and David Oliver Relin
Should be a good one!!

Ooo! Is your book club accepting new participants? I've always wanted to join a book club.
Of course! The more the merrier!
