I'm taking Leah's suggestion and doing a black and white theme for this week. I'll either be taking pictures of things that are black and white or converting the pictures that I take into black and white. I have found that this is more difficult than I thought. A picture that looks good in color doesn't always look good in black and white. And, there aren't too many things sitting around that are just black and white.
Last night I took my camera on my walk down the lake front in hopes of capturing a fantastic picture of the skyline that I love and making it into a beautiful black and white portrait. Well, that didn't happen. I wasn't close enough and my zoom isn't powerful enough.
However, I did end up with this and I'm pretty happy with it.
