Another year older

This past week I celebrated my 28th birthday (and yes, I actually do feel older this year). In honor of being another year older I decided to throw myself a birthday party. Why would I throw myself a party? Well, because I wanted to have one and I can! This year I decided that a theme would make things a little more interesting. So, I did a Black and White party. Everyone wore black and white, the food was black and white (or at least mostly), and I even made black frosting so that I could have a black and white cake. Of course, I had to have a little pop of color and that could be found in my signature drink for the night, "The Dizzie Lizzie". The recipe can be found in an earlier post. It was tasty! I was going to wait and gather the pictures that other people took, but for now, you will have to settle for mine.
