It's what a hamburger's all about!

In-n-Out!!! While on my recent, glorious trip to So Cal, I only had a few goals. To relax and do nothing, see the ocean as many times as possible, celebrate my dear friend Amy's marriage (more on that later), and eat at In-n-Out at least once! The last time I was in So Cal, my planned trip to In-n-Out was sabotaged by a co-worker of mine who ate there two days before and was not impressed. I had planned to stop there for lunch on my way to the airport but ended up having said co-worker with no taste in my car at that time and was forced to abandon my plans. So, on this most recent trip, I was not going to let anything stand in my way! And, to make up for the lost trip, I ate there twice. It was like a little taste of heaven. The first trip, I did the traditional cheese burger and fries but on the second trip, I exchanged the fries for a strawberry milkshake. Yum!

Yes, I am aware that I sound a little bit obsessed and yes, I realize that there are many other burgers in the world that are just as good, if not better. I don't really care. There is just something about In-n-Out that I love!!

Although I can enjoy an In-n-Out burger when I eat one, I never crave one like most people raised on them. It's probably because I don't get it with everything on it, which, I hear, is what makes it unique. I stick with my cheeseburger with "mustard, ketchup, pickles, extra mustard ONLY, please".
