Of course, I would have loved it even more if I didn't drive all the way to work only to find out that the offices were closed and discover that, indeed, a message had been left on my phone informing me of this. However, the message was left at 8:37 am. I am supposed to be at work at 8:30. So, in theory, I should have already been at work by the time I was informed of this snow day. Whatever. I just turned right around and headed home and have actually been pretty productive this morning.
Here's what it looks like outside my apartment. You can't really tell how deep the snow is from here but I was not about to go outside just to take a picture of how much snow there is. You'll just have to trust me on this one.
On a completely random note, my roommate's mom sent a package the other day. She said it was something for the cat. The box arrived and it was huge! This is what was in it:
Can you tell what that is? It is a giant mouse scratching 'post' that has a smaller hedgehog scratching 'post' that fits inside of it. The hedgehog comes out and then the cat can sit inside of the mouse. We laughed SO hard when we opened it! The thing is so strange looking! My roomie was going to return it but managed to find a place for it in her room and I think the cat actually likes it.

What a cool toy!! And yet it makes me NEVER want to get a cat so I don't have to have giant toys for them to play with in my living room...
