The 'Bou' (pronounced Boo)

This morning I stopped at my local Caribou Coffee for my morning jolt (Thanks Kelly!). If you are not familiar with Caribou it's pretty much Starbucks with a Caribou instead of a mermaid-ish thing. Anyway....
I got in line and there was a girl who was just paying. Unfortunately, the girl's credit card was denied. Twice. I felt horrible for her! It had to be SO embarrassing. She asked the cashier if there was an ATM near by. Then, the guy (who also happened to be very good looking) behind her calmly said 'don't worry about it, I'll get it'. My mouth almost dropped open! I didn't know that there were actually still people in this world that did that! Even the cashier looked at him like he had never seen someone offer that. She declined his offer and the cashier was nice and said that since she was a regular she could just bring the money tomorrow for her order.
It was just a nice little moment that helps to restore your faith in humanity. There are still people in this world that offer to help a stranger out of a jam and there are still coffee places that understand the value of their regular customers.
And yes, the handsome stranger was wearing a wedding ring. I checked. :)

Hurray for humanity!! I too love stories like that and I love being the one that can inspire humanity. It's rather sad though, that people are so surprised when others do nice things like that.

(HILARIOUS that you checked for the wedding ring. I would have too. ;-)

PS. You're welcome.
